Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of this website and, where applicable, the supply of CV-to-website services that convert customer CVs and related materials into online profiles or portfolio websites.
Last updated: 25 March 2026
By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and only for genuine business or personal portfolio enquiries. You must not misuse the site, upload unlawful material, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with site operation, or submit content that is defamatory, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or malicious.
Submitting the enquiry form, sending a CV, or requesting information does not by itself create a binding contract for paid services. A contract is formed only when scope, price, and any key commercial terms are accepted in writing by both parties.
The core service is the transformation of a customer CV, resume, biography, project information, and related brand preferences into a custom online portfolio or similar personal-professional website.
The service does not include legal, recruitment, immigration, investment, or regulated professional advice unless separately agreed in writing. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, client wins, search rankings, media coverage, or any particular commercial result.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- the information, credentials, dates, claims, and achievements you provide are accurate, lawful, and not misleading;
- you own or have permission to use all text, CV content, photographs, logos, testimonials, references, and other materials submitted to us;
- any personal data about third parties included in your materials is shared lawfully and with any required permission;
- your submitted files do not contain malware, spyware, or other harmful code; and
- you review drafts carefully and approve the final content before publication.
By sending us a CV or other project materials, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to receive, review, copy, adapt, and use those materials solely to assess your enquiry, prepare a proposal, perform the requested services, produce revisions, deliver the final portfolio, keep backups, and protect or enforce legal rights.
Any timelines shown on this website are indicative only unless specifically agreed in writing. Delivery timing depends on the project scope, responsiveness, quality of source materials, approval cycles, and any requested revisions.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, optional third-party costs such as domain names, premium fonts, stock assets, external software subscriptions, or third-party hosting upgrades are not included in the service fee.
Material changes to scope, extra revision rounds, or content added after approval may require revised timing and additional fees.
If you later enter into a distance contract with us as a consumer, you will usually have a statutory 14-day cancellation period beginning on the day the contract is concluded, unless an exception applies.
If you ask us to begin work during that cancellation period, and then cancel, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work already carried out up to the cancellation date. If the service has been fully performed after your express request and acknowledgement, your cancellation right may end at that point.
Portfolio work is personalised and often involves bespoke digital deliverables. Any statutory cancellation position for a paid project will be explained again in the order-specific agreement or confirmation we send you.
To notify us of a cancellation request, email hello@itboffins.com with a clear statement of your decision.
You retain ownership of the pre-existing materials you provide. We retain ownership of our pre-existing methods, tooling, systems, layouts, reusable frameworks, and know-how.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, and subject to full payment of agreed fees, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the final portfolio deliverables created specifically for you for your own professional branding, marketing, and profile purposes.
Your portfolio may rely on third-party services such as domain registrars, hosting providers, analytics providers, scheduling tools, email platforms, social media embeds, or content delivery networks. Those services are subject to their own terms, availability, pricing, and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, account suspensions, or price changes imposed by third-party providers.
This website and its examples are provided for general information and service promotion. While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
Portfolio examples displayed on this website may include fictional names, placeholder biographies, AI-generated text, AI-generated imagery, or concept-only material created to demonstrate design direction. Unless expressly identified as a real commissioned project, those examples are illustrative demonstrations only and do not imply an existing client relationship, endorsement, testimonial, or real individual behind the profile.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss arising from inaccurate materials supplied by you or from third-party platform issues.
Where a paid project exists, our aggregate liability in relation to that project will not exceed the total fees paid or payable for the specific services giving rise to the claim, except where the law says otherwise. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access or project work where there is non-payment, abuse, unlawful content, repeated non-cooperation, infringement concerns, security risk, or any other serious issue that makes continued work unreasonable.
Our handling of personal data, including CV submissions and project information, is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of the wider legal information for this website.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer laws in your place of residence require otherwise. If you are a consumer, you may also have the benefit of any mandatory rights available in the part of the UK in which you live.
